The Inner Guide Counsellor

I’m Helen. I work as an integrative therapist with adults and young people aged 16 and over.

My work focuses on understanding emotional and relational patterns and how the nervous system responds under pressure. I help clients make sense of what repeats, what feels stuck, and what no longer works, then support change that is grounded and sustainable.

I work relationally and psychologically. Sessions are responsive, focused, and shaped by what emerges in the room. This is not about insight alone. It is about integration and lived change.

I support clients with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, identity shifts, boundaries, self worth, and life transitions. I also work with couples who want structured support to understand patterns in their relationship and communicate more clearly.

My approach draws on psychology, neuroscience, and embodied awareness. Over time, my work has evolved into a more focused and integrative way of practising, centred on clarity, regulation, and responsibility.
